Not long ago I mentioned a shoot that I did with Wayne Cook of Amethyst Photography, where we tried to make commentary on glamour photography, through using an alternative model (me) to emulate glamour poses. I called the post Glamour? due to our intention of re-working the glamour genre from a feminist perspective.
Having received the rest of the images from this shoot, I feel that whilst we met our objective with some of the photographs, others actually make for rather traditional (and very good) glamour shots! Of course, this is no bad thing – in fact, I really like seeing this side of myself and I hope you do too.
